So I wasn’t planning on writing a whole blog today, but here we are. It’s wild looking back at how far some of these Missouri brands have come — especially the ones I’ve been following from the start. I remember trying some of the early products and being like… okay, we’ll see where this goes. And now? I’ve got a few favorites I actually reach for on purpose, which says a lot considering how picky I’ve gotten.
And yeah, I still get excited when something actually lives up to the hype.
Which brings me to a few things I’ve been trying lately — and something new on the scene that caught my attention.
There’s a dispensary called CURRENT, and if you’ve been around for a while, you’ll recognize the team behind it. The layout is big and open, with clean lines and a polished feel. The space is easy to navigate, and the team? Absolutely the highlight. Everyone I’ve interacted with has been welcoming, helpful, and just genuinely good energy.
Anyway — let’s talk products.
I’ve been testing out their new infused pre-rolls, and I was pleasantly surprised. They hit smooth, the effects kicked in quickly, and they made for a solid daytime option when I needed to stay lifted but clear. It’s clear they’re putting thought and care into the formulation — which matters more than anything to me these days.
The bubble hash pre-rolls delivered exactly what I hoped for: great flavor and a really clean, centered effect. I felt relaxed, focused, and overall just better. It’s one of those products that feels elevated but still approachable, which is a hard balance to strike.
But let’s talk about the rosin — specifically, their first drop of Purple Ice Water. It’s been a while since something made me pause mid-session and go, “Oh. Okay. This is it.” The terpene profile — limonene, beta-caryophyllene, and linalool — is a perfect mix for pain relief and mellow, focused vibes. Within minutes, I felt my tension melt and my whole body just chill out. It’s clean, potent, flavorful, and honestly one of my favorite Missouri rosin drops to date.
Also, I’m really excited to see what they come out with next. It feels like they’ve found their stride — and they’re just getting started.
All in all, I’m really happy with what I’ve seen and tried. It’s cool to watch familiar names grow into something new while still holding onto the quality and intention that made me pay attention in the first place.
And to the whole team — congratulations. From the products to the people to the space itself… the growth is real, and it’s been an honor to watch it unfold.
That’s all I’ve got for now.
Until next time,
—Cecilia
